Dr. Yeampon Nakaramontri

Dr. Yeampon Nakaramontri is the lecturer of Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry (Polymer Chemistry), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (Bangkok, Thailand). He obtained his B.Sc. on Rubber Technology and Ph.D. on Polymer Technology from Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus. During his Ph.D., he also spent 2 years in University of Applied Science Osnabrück, Germany. After Ph.D., he decided to continue his education level by applying 2 years as a postdoctoral researcher at Prince of Songkla University, Surat Thani campus (Thailand), University of Applied Science Osnabrück (Germany) and EMPA Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Switzerland). His project researches have officially focusing on rubber compounding, rubber composites and thermoplastic elastomer. Therefore, he specializes in the fields of natural rubber composites and thermoplastic natural rubber reinforced with several fillers, particularly carbon-based filler, which changes effectively the insulator-rubber material to be a semiconductor or a conductor. Hence, various rubber products i.e. transdermal patch, motion sensor and also bio-TPE have been produced and developed for matching the researches to the future of the worldwide rubber industries.
