Associate Professor, Rubber Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences
Mr. Liu Ruijin is an Associate Professor for research in Rubber Research Institute of CATAS and a PhD candidate in the University of Chinese Academy of Social Science. He has been being focused on natural rubber industry since 2009 and was a visiting scholar in University of Malaya from 2014 to 2015. Under the support of projects from the national, ministerial and provincial funding, Mr. Liu and his team members have made much progress in the price formation mechanism, measures to cope with price risk, technology diffusion, modern management system and the sustainable development of natural rubber, some of which are considered among the international advanced level in the similar fields. Based on the research achievements, Mr. Liu offers advices to the ministries, local governments and companies. Now Mr. Liu is a South China Sea Young Scholar in Hainan Province and a member of CATAS Thousand Talent Program.
