H.E. Shen Guofang

H.E. Shen Guofang is currently the President of China (Sanya) Public Diplomacy Institute. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director of China foundation for International Studies. He started off as a member of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in year 1978, followed by serving as the Ambassador of the Republic of China to Nepal in 1983. He then served as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and began to serve as Qian Qichen's secretary in July 1984. He was the Deputy Director of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from year 1993 to 1996 and the Deputy Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the United Nations from year 1998 to 2003. From year 2003 to 2005, he served as the Assistant of Foreign Minister and was the Chief Editor of World Knowledge Press till year 2016.
